The Eddy County Health Council is looking for new members. The council’s goal is to identify and address healt needs in the county, according to Sarah Bowman, the interim coordinator of the council. New Mexico Community Health Councils played key roles in the State’s public health system, mobilizing communities, identifying local health needs, and planning and coordinating solutions to access those needs, cited the New Mexico Health Council website.
