A Lea County man has been arrested for probation violations… Now, during the arrest, police said they found a cache of dangerous drugs and weapons. 26 year old Jose Menchaca, of Hobbs, was captured recently. During the search of the man’s home, Hobbs police said they found thousands of suspected illegal fentanyl pills, cocaine, an AR-style rifle, and five other handguns. One gun was determined to be stolen. Also found were jewelry items, electronics, and solar batteries believed to be stolen.
