Xcel Energy Touts New Mexico Electric Grid Upgrades

Xcel Energy is touting boosts to the New Mexico electric distribution grid. A statement from the company this week says it has invested more than 76 million dollars in projects to upgrade and build feeder lines and substations – and has completed voltage upgrades in several locations in the New Mexico service area. That’s on top of the almost $70 million investment in the region’s distribution network the company said it made last year.
