Elderly Woman Charged With Vehicular Homicide After Roswell Crash

A Los Lunas woman has been charged with vehicular homicide in connection with a crash in south Roswell that resulted in the death of the woman’s sister.

70 year old Inez Crawley was the driver of a Toyota Camry that crashed into a Ford F-150 pickup truck at the intersection of Southeast Main Street and East Brasher Road on Tuesday shortly before 11:30 a.m. Crawley’s sister, Ellen Adams, 76, of Albuquerque, was riding in the front passenger seat of the Camry when the accident occurred. Adams, who Roswell Police Department investigators determined was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Poclie say Crawley failed to stop at the red light near Main and Brasher.
