Carlsbad Mayor Dale Janway says the pieces are coming together nicely for holding an energy summit next month at the Walter Gerrells Performing Arts and Exhibition Center. Last year;s summit, he said, was held virtually due to the pandemic. They’re planning an in-person event this year. The energy summit was developed years ago as a way of getting together with members of the energy industry to try to get a little understanding of what we can expect in the future.
