Chaves County authorities say a dangerous escapee is back in custody. Dabiel Cobos was locate dinside a home by deputies at 2205 Portales Road, north of Roswell, Monday night. Deputies surrounded the house and occupants exited the front door as Cobos attempted to sneak out the back door. Deputies gave Cobos and a female commands to show their hands at which time the man ran back inside the house. The perimeter of the house was secured and the Roswell Police Department and the New Mexico State Police responded to the scene. Cobos was finally captured after a nearly 7 hour standoff with a SWAT Team.
