Roswell Opens New Landfill Cell

The city of Roswell held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday to mark the opening of Cell 5 at the Roswell Municipal Landfill. The new 19.5-acre cell provides almost 2 million cubic yards of additional space in which to deposit trash at the landfill. That is enough space to serve the city’s needs for
about another 15 years before another cell will have to be opened. The full ceremony can be viewed on the City of Roswell Facebook page.
