New details on that tragic shooting SUnday night in Roswell that left a teenager dead. RPD says the case remains under investigation, but that officers responded to the Saddle Creek Apartments in the 1900 block of South Sunset Avenue, where they found 18 year-old David Gonzalez lying in the parking lot. Gonzalez had been shot and was declared dead at the scene. Soon after, a woman showed up at the hospital, also with gunshot wounds to her wrist. That 18 year old woman was reportedly a passenger in a vehicle driven by her boyfriend. RPD says the couple had driven to the apartments to engage in a suspected drug deal that included Gonzalez. Poclie say they believe Gonzalez approached the car and tried to rob the people inside, but shots were fired and Gonzalez was killed.
