The Artesia Public Schools Board of Education has called a special meeting for this Friday. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. at 301 Bulldog Boulevard in Artesia. The public agenda for the meeting says the board will immediately go into executive session to discuss limited personnel matters of superintendent candidates and review applicant submissions, as well as possible interviews of superintendent candidates. The agenda does say that a vote could be taken after executive session to select a superintendent and approve a contract.
