Eddy County collected more than 5.5 million dollars in oil and gas taxes for the month of November… the latest month that statistics are available. The county says it could even see a surplus of oil and gas tax revenue when the current fiscal year ends at the end of June. OPver fiscal year 2022 collections have totaled 23 million dollars.
