On the crtime beat today, Roswell Poclie investigating an attempted armed robbery that took place at the Family Dollar store at 909 East 2nd Street. Police say the robber gave a clerk a note that said he would shoot if he was not given money. It is not known if the suspect got any money, but he fled the store and has not been captrured.
