Eddy County has been awarded 750-thousand dollars in communicty development block grant funding. The money comes out of an overall 10.5 million dolar kitty being doled out around the state. The funding will be used for water, wastewater, streets & drainage, and public facilities projects. An additional $1.6 million will be used for economic development and planning projects.
