Two people have died as a result of the McBride fire, which grew to more than 53-hundred acres om Wednesday. The deaths were said to be IN ruidoso after fire crews responded to a home on fire along Gavilan Canyon Road. Village polcie said the couple had attempted to evacuate, but had remained unaccounted for. The names of the couple is being withheld until notificatuion family. The McBride fire broke out Tuesday in the Sacramento Mountains. It remains zero percent contained.
