An Alabama man is facing a murder charge here in Eddy County after his arrest Sunday night. Deputies responded to an oil field site along Longhorn Road, where they found Avery Weathers shot to death. Weathers was reportedly from Louisiana. The gunman was identified as Tevin Morrissette and investigators said the pair had been drinking together when discussiong turned to religion. An argument broke out, turning physical. Then Morissette allegedly pulled a gun and shot Weathers.
