Roswell Police are investigating two separate shootings. Just after midnight on Tuesday, RPD responded to a call that someone had been shot near South Main Street and Matthews. Police found a 51 year old man in the 100 block of West Matthews suffering from a gunshot wound to his ankle. The injury is considered non life-threatening.
A second shooting took place a few minutes later in the 1800 block of North Michigan Avenue when a domestic argument led to a phyical fight. The fight resulted in a 40 year old man being shot in the chest, according to a statement provided to reporters by RPD Spokesman Todd Wildermuth. The victim remains at a hospital, but his current condition is not known. It’s also not known if there have been any arrests in either case.
