State Police are investigating a deadly crash south of Roswell. It happened on US 285 between Roswell and Artesia Wednesday morning when a semi tractor-trailer rig headed south behind a Chevy pickup truck rear-ended the pickup. After the initial impact, troopers say the pickup rolled over, killing 23 year old Luis Alberto Borunda. Borunda was a passenger in the pickup, while its driver, a 51 year old was seriously hurt. The driver of the 18 wheeler was also not injured.
