On Thuesday, the Roswell City Council heard discussion on the Air Center marketing contract and a request for 21-thousand dollars to finance the purchase of a combination dump truck-snow plow. It was the first disucssions about the air center since the October 4th resignations of the director and deputy director. The search to fill those positions is still underway. One of the biuggest issues, according to Airport Advisory COmmission Chairman Bud Kunkel, is that the city is losing income by not entering into lease agreements for some buildings just because potential occupants aren’t in the aviation business.
