A man has been convicted of being involved in a Roswell murder three years ago. Manuel Villareal was found guilty of murder and two other charges for the shooting death of 43 year-old John Halfmann in November of 2020. Halfmann’s body was found in a shed in the 700 block of East 5th Street. Villareal was on the loose about a week before his arrest in the case. The jury also convicted Villareal for attempting to intimidate a witness.
