Construction contniueson a project to rebuild almost ten miles of US 285 at Malaga. Crews are currently in the seoncd phase of a project to rebuild the entire roadway, extend and replace concrete box culverts to improve drainage, and rehabilitate the existing bridge over the Salt Draw. Thos phase is expected to last the next 2-to-3 weeks and will cause traffic to be shifted to the northbound lanes at the southern end of the project, and the southbound lanes at the northern end. Only one lane of traffic is open in each direction.
