15 million in economic relief payments from the New Mexico Human Services Department (HSD) and Taxation & Revenue Department will be delivered to more than 26,000 New Mexicans starting July 26. Payments will be delivered by direct-deposit or checks mailed to qualifying applicants.
Economic relief payments are going to 26,085 applicants, of which 19,289 are going out as ACH payments (direct deposit) and 6,796 are paper checks to follow shortly. New Mexicans receiving their economic relief payment by direct deposit should see the $500 or $1000 payments in their banks within about two business days.
