The Eddy County Sheriff’s Office says it has since found a lost piece of equipment that it had asked for help in finding. IN a Facebook post on June 30th, the sheriff’s office said it was asking for anyone to please turn in a lost radiographic device that was apparently left in the area of Highway 128 and Mile Marker 35 near Jal. The device was said to weigh about 50 pounds and was about the size of a loaf of bread. No details about how the device was lost were provided, but the department gave an update on Tuesday, saying an anonymous citizen turned in the device in Jal.
