A fatal shooting that occurred early Monday morning (Aug. 21) in east
Roswell is under investigation by the Roswell Police Department.
The shooting resulted in the death of Christopher Herrera, 45. He was found with a gunshot
wound deceased at the scene of the shooting in the 800 block of East Fifth Street around
3:40 a.m.
This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by RPD’s Criminal Investigations Division.
