More new details in the Walmart shooting ordeal in Roswell. Police now say they’ve also arrested the victim’s girlfriend, 22 year old Zayleen Thyberg. Thyberg reportedly turned herself in Tuesday night after a warrant was issued charging her with tampering with evidence. Her boyfriend, Steve Soltero, was shot and killed inside the Walmart last Friday. RPD says Thyberg removed a handgun from Soltero’s hand after he was shot by Joshua Martinez. Martinez himself had already fled the scene. She’s accused of hiding the gun in some merchandise, where police later found it. Additionally, police say Thyberg DID know who the gunman was, despite telling police she did not.
