Human remains found in Eddy County on Friday are believed to be that of a man who was reported missing back in December. Chief Deputy Matthew Hutchinson said detectives responded to a remote location near Black River Village Road and Bounds Road for the report of a human body discovered. Over Friday and Saturday, detectives working with a medical examiner recovered the remains and determined them to be that of William Kammerer, who had been reported missing by his family back on December 4th. The sheriff’s office says they do suspect foul play in this case. Anyone with information is urged to call 575-887-1888.
