The summer meal program in Roswell will have some changes this year. The grab-and-go style is going away and kids will have to eat any meals served – on-site. RISD Superintendwent Brian Luck told the school board this week that the new guidelines no longer allow breakfasts and lunches to be served together or served in a way that allows the students to eat elsewhere. The new rules also require sites to set up tables and chairs to allow the kids to eat their meals on-site. The RISD program will begin June 2nd and last through July 22nd. Any child age 1-18 is eligible, even if they are NOT a student in the district.
