Portions of roads on the west and southwest sides of Roswell Air Center will be closed during daytime hours during the National Championship Air Races (Sept. 10-14) and
a pilots certification event (Sept. 6-9; not a public event) that will precede it.
The following closures will be in effect Sept. 6-14 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily:
Westbound Hobson Road will be closed at Sunset Road.
Westbound YO Road will be closed at Nashville Road.
Northbound Old YO Crossing Road will be closed at Pierre Road.
There will be no general traffic allowed to enter these areas during the closures. Motorists are asked to plan their travel routes accordingly.
