An arrest has been made in a deadly Roswell shooting that happened Sunday night. Reports show a man named Willie Fuentes shot and killed Roman Chavez after an argument between the two men. RPD says Fuentes rode his bicycle to visit a relative in the 400 block of West 16th Street, but while inside the home, Chaves kicked down Fuentes’s bike, causing the distrubance. Both men reportedly retrieved guns and fired at each other. Chaves was struck and killed. Fuentes was not injured and has since been booked into the Chaves County Jail on a charge of voluntary manslaughter.
