The 50th annual Art in the Park starts Friday. The city of Artesia says it wants to make sure that getting in and out of Jaycee Park is as smooth as possible. For that reason, you will only be able to enter Jaycee Park through the north gate, and the south gate will be used for exit only. If you’re dropping off a band student, you are advised to enter the north entrance off Dr. RW Harper Drive, stay left in the band drop off lane, and drop off only… no parking or waiting for any length of time. Students must be ready to exit the vehicle quickly with their belongings.
