The New Mexico Department of Transportation District Two office in cooperation with BNSF Railroad will make railroad crossing repairs on NM 128 (Jal Hwy.) between milepost 0 to milepost 1. The hours of operation for the repairs are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16 and Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Drivers can expect NM 128 at the intersection of NM 31 (Potash Mines Rd) to be closed for through traffic throughout the duration of the 2-day repair project. Detour routes will be in place. Drivers are encouraged to plan accordingly and expect some delays.
