Roswell Man Accused Of Burning Girlfriend With Acid, Tasering Her

Roswell Police have arrested a man accused of using acid to burn his girlfriend, and then shooting her in the leg and tasering her. The incident Monday morning when police responded to the 2300 block of West Alameda Street in Roswell. 42 year old Steven Rainer, a convicted felon, is charged with aggravated battery and 14 counts of felon in possession of a firearm.

The RPD investigation determined an argument between Rainer and his girlfriend escalated to a point where Rainer pushed the woman and hit her in the face before spraying her with a liquid that caused burns to her skin. The woman was also shot in the leg.
