Roswell Police are looking for two teenagers believed involved in two shootings in northwest Roswell last weekend. The incidents are thought to be connected. A third teen was arrested shortly after the shootings, which left one of the teens with a minor gunshot wound.
Arrest warrants are out for Humberto Velarde and Esiah Gonzales, both 18 years old.
After getting several reports of gunfire in northwest Roswell on Sunday, police responded to the 900 block of Escalante Court, where Angelo Trujillo was found. The getaway vehicle was then found in the 1800 block of Cambridge Avenue.
Polcie say Trujillo then drove to the house on Cambridge and opened fire at Velarde and Gonzales, striking Velarde in the arm. He was treated and released from the hospital, but police had not yet progressed far enough in the investigation to identify Velarde as a suspect in the initial shooting. Velarde and Gonzales remain on the loose.
