The big story today, an Artesia Poclie Officer – killed while off duty after crashing into a semi truck. New Mexico State Police confirm the victim, 42 year-old Thomas Wade Frazier, was driving his personal truck north on US 285 when he rear-ended the semi. State Poclie say the semi was slowing down in order to make a turn into the Creek Side Dairy. Frazier died as a result of the crash. The semi driver was not injured.
