The Chaves County Sheriff’s Office, State Police, along with the Roswell Police Department have been involved in a Manhunt on foot of a Murder Suspect. The search ended up out on Hwy 285 North, which was shut down for a time on Monday – from One Horse Road to mile marker 139. The Chaves County Sheriff’s Office and the Roswell Police Department were seen using Drones to search more area. The suspect fled on foot after his car was disabled after a pursuit. The search was called off after dark Monday night and is resuming today.
