Carlsbad Library Receives Grant Money

The Carlsbad Public Library has received a 10-thousand dollar grant to support preserving the city’s history for future generations. Carlsbad Public Library was one of 200 libraries nationwide that received money from the Humanities Grants for Libraries program, which is part of the American Library Association. Sarah Jones, the director of the Carlsbad Public Library, said the money will be used to create videos of historic places and sites in Carlsbad.
