There is a new opioid addiction treatment center opening in Roswell. A firm called Renew Health has opened the treatment center on North Union Avenue and will focus on opiate addiction, but will also offer help from alcohol and methamphetamine addiction. A grand opening ceremony was held Tuesday, where Roswell Mayor Dennis Kintigh said opioid addiction is a courge that affects us all. Renew Health owner Trent Carter said there is a huge void in addiction treatment centrers in Southeast New Mexico, and he hopes to help fill that void.
