A Dexter man is identified as the victim of a deadly crash that took place Saturday new Tucumcari, in Quay County. New Mexico State Police reports show 71 year old Earl Kemmer was headed north in his Jeep Wrangler at a high rate of speed when the Jeep lost control and left the pavement. The vehicle reportedly hit an embankment and went airborne, crossing Highway 54 and flipping several times. Kemmer was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown out of the Jeep.
