The Eddy County Sheriff’s Office confirms it respodned to a call from a US Border Patrol checkpoint in Texas on Friday, regarding a vehicle that had avoided the checkpoint there. Sheriff’s deputies here in Eddy County discovered a vehicle that matched the description, pulling it over near Carlsbad. 44 year old Hector Castro was arrested, but no other details are available.
