The Eddy County Sheriff’s Office is asking for some help in solving a cold case homicide dating back almost three years. In April of 2020, ECSO responded to the report of human remains that were discovered in a remote lcoation south of Malaga. Several human bones were found there, which were eventually identified as belonging to 43 year old Brandi J. Fernandez, of Carlsbad.
