We begin today on the crime beat in Ruidoso, where human remains have been discovered along Highway 70. The Lincoln County Sheriff said construction workers found the remains early today in the 26000 block of Highway 70. The remains have been taken to a forensic examiner in Albuquerque. The identity of the person is not known… not even the gender. The sheriff said they may not be able to have any details from autopsy results until the end of next month.
