Artesia city leaders – holding their first public meeting to get feedback on a new citywide comprehensive plan. Jackie Fishman is a certified planner and owner of the firm Consensus Planning Incorporated. The city is contracting with the Albuquerque firm to update the comprehensive plan, which has not been updated since 2012. The same firm is also finishing up an updated Eddy County Comprehensive Plan and ocmpleted a similar plan for Calrsbad about two years ago.
