A former employee of the Ashley Furniture store in Portales has been ordered to serve one year in state prison for stealing over 100-thousand dollars in furniture. 30 year old Darius Vonschritz pleaded guilty to larceny and receiving stolen property. Poclie said much of the frniture was found inside the home Conschritz shared with former ENMU police officer Kekoa Vonschritz. Kekoa Vonschritz was also charged and sentenced to five years probation for receiving stolen property.
