The city of Carlsbad is trying to establish planning priorities for anticipated capital projects – and they would like to hear from you. Limited funding requires phasing of larger projects and for the City to leverage federal, state and local funds. The City is seeking public input in the process. Capital projects include city street and road improvements, water and sewer imrpvements.. improvements to public facilities like parks… and public safety improvements for equipment for police, fire and EMS. A public hearing is scheduled for April 25th at 5:30 p.m. in the city council chambers in Carlsbad. If you cannot attend, an open comment period remains open until April 26th,.
