Roswell Animal Shelter Halts Intakes Due To Parvovirus Outbreak

Also in Roswell, the city’s animal shelter has temporarily halted intakes of new animals due to an outbreak of canine parvovirus. The measure is expected to last two weeks. A statement from the city says the shelter will continue to maintain all essential operations for animals currently housed at the facility, but is pausing intakes except in eemregcny situations. Strict biosecurity measures and sanitation policies are also being implemented to address the shelter’s rise in CPV cases.
